About The Arc
Born with a strange mark and a god-given talent for fighting, Yoriichi Tsugikuni created Sun Breathing and nearly killed the Demon King Muzan. After tragedy tore away his wife and child, he dedicated his life to slaying demons, saved the Kamado ancestors, was exiled for letting Muzan escape, and died standing tall in his 80s during a final clash with his demon brother, Kokushibo
Early Childhood
Born as a twin with a forehead birthmark and perceived deafness, he was treated poorly until he showed superhuman swordsmanship at age seven.
Tragedy and Loss
He married a woman named Uta, but she and their unborn child were murdered by a demon while he was away, sparking his path as a warrior
Creation of Breathing Styles
He invented Sun Breathing, the very first breathing style, and taught derivative styles to other members of the Demon Slayer Corps.
The Fight with Muzan
He cornered and almost obliterated Muzan Kibutsuji, but Muzan survived by splitting his body into pieces, leading the corps to banish Yoriichi
