The Return of the Hokage
Seeking answers about the nature of shinobi, Sasuke demands Orochimaru reanimate the first four Hokages—Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, and Minato—using the Uzumaki Death Seal mask. After hearing Hashirama's history of village creation, Sasuke chooses to defend the Leaf, leading the revived Hokage leaders directly to the war zone.
The Masked Man Unmasked
Naruto, Killer Bee, Kakashi, and Might Guy engage in a fierce confrontation against Tobi. Utilizing Kamui tactics in unison, Kakashi succeeds in shattering the mysterious mask—revealing the operative to be his former teammate, Obito Uchiha, long believed to have died at Kannabi Bridge.
The Ten-Tails Revival

To break free from Madara's control, Obito intentionally allows Kakashi to pierce his heart. He then absorbs the Ten-Tails directly into his body, surviving his mortal injuries and ascending into a divine Jinchūriki wielding Truth-Seeker Orbs and godlike power.

Madara's Infinite Tsukuyomi
Madara betrays Obito using Black Zetsu to extract the Ten-Tails and retrieve his second Rinnegan. Reaching his final form, Madara reflects his Rinne Sharingan off the moon, casting the global Infinite Tsukuyomi and trapping nearly all living creatures in eternal dream cocoons.
Kaguya's Awakening
At his moment of victory, Madara is backstabbed by Black Zetsu, who reveals himself as the embodiment of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's will. Forcing the immense chakra of all trapped victims into Madara, Black Zetsu resurrects Kaguya—the Progenitor of Chakra—to initiate the final war for salvation.
