Hidan & Kakuzu Arc

Also known as the Akatsuki Suppression Mission. Follow the tragic battle of Team 10, Shikamaru's masterclass in strategy, and Naruto's creation of the catastrophic Wind Style: Rasenshuriken.

The Akatsuki Threat

While Naruto undergoes intense elemental training with Kakashi and Yamato using Shadow Clones to accelerate his progress, two immortal Akatsuki members—Hidan and Kakuzu—wreak havoc across the Fire Country in search of Jinchuriki.

The Fall of Asuma

A Twenty-Squad unit led by Asuma Sarutobi engages the Akatsuki duo. During the battle, Hidan executes his gruesome voodoo curse ritual, linking his body to Asuma's using blood. Despite Shikamaru's brilliant tactics, Asuma suffers fatal injuries and passes away surrounded by his students.

Revenge & Rasenshuriken

Driven by grief, Shikamaru devises an extraordinary strategy to isolate Hidan in the Nara Clan forest, tricking him into destroying Kakuzu's heart before burying Hidan alive under explosive tags. Meanwhile, Naruto arrives on the battlefield to unveil his newly mastered jutsu: Wind Style: Rasenshuriken, completely severing Kakuzu's chakra network and ending the threat.
